First Day of 3rd Grade

The weekend before school started was busy! LM and I ran errands on Friday, Saturday we had his cousins sleep over so their parents could have date night for their Anniversary and Sunday spent time swimming with his friends.

Shopping for football cleats - Football season starts in 2 weeks!

Watching Minions Madness (mini-movies) with his cousins. Evening also included, swimming, Nerf wars and building with Legos!

3rd Grade Boys Ice Cream Party!

The family of one of LM school friends hosted a 3rd Grade Boys Ice Cream Party at the local ice cream shop, Sweet Firefly today!

It was great seeing all his friends from school before we head into a new school year next week.

Next up tomorrow, Meet the Teacher / Classmates and Treats on the Lawn!

Hubs forgot to take a picture of LM and myself Kayaking in California. Luckily someone else snapped this pic! My B-I-L and nephew J are on the left and LM and I are on the right. Stylish pink helmet huh! :)

LM - Pine Cove Camp in The City

His counselor, "Wasbi Lobby" presenting him with his "Certificate of Recognition". It reads, "Awarded to LM for outstanding character qualities displayed during the summer of 2015. "LM is confident, seen in his willingness to express himself. He is eager, ready to take on challenges. LM is faithful, constant in his thoughts and beliefs."

We have a 3rd Grade Boys Ice Cream Party this Thursday, then Meet Your Teacher / Classmates on Friday and school starts on Monday! The summer has flown by!

Ventura, CA Family Trip

Several members of the family traveled to Ventura, CA to celebrate Uncle Jay's 40th Birthday!

We rented a beach house and spent time at the beach, Santa Cruz Island, the Ventura Botanical Garden Trail, the Mission Buenaventura, Ojai, Serra Cross and other local sites for a week of fun and family.
