Easy Rider!

My sister-in-law Jennifer's neighbor gave us this battery powered Harley for Jaden.  He hasn't quite mastered holding down the button to make it go but when he does....look out!  We bought him a helmet anticipating that he'll eventually take a corner too quickly and dump himself off of the thing.  Visions of trips to the E.R are already racing through my mind but a boys gotta have their toys!

Ahhhhh.....to be 15 months old.

A day in Jaden's life.

Wake up at 6:30 am and discuss my dreams with Llama and frog.

Mom comes in to get me around 7:00 am and tells me what a good sleeper I am!

I run around crazy so mom can't catch me to change my diaper...even though I'm pretty stinky.

7:15 am Breakfast time!  Love waffles, cereal bars, strawberries, banana, watermelon, oatmeal and my goat milk!

Play in my new playroom, run errands with mom or go to the park until lunch at 11:30 am.

Gotta check my messages!

Swinging at the park!

Higher!  Higher!

I eat pretty much anything for lunch!

Nap at 12:00 pm!  Usually down until 2:00 pm.

Up and have a snack.  Play some more.

Dinner at 6:00 pm, play a little, bath 7:00 pm and bed around 7:30 pm or 8:00 pm.

Whew!  What a day!

Mom says that once we get the house "situated" we'll get to go to the library for story time, the aquatic center, swim lessons and to some play group get togethers to meet new people!

Everything is O.K!

Got the call from my Dr. yesterday!  "All benign"!  To go from a radiology report that stated, "Probable Melanoma" to a pathology report that stated, "Begin tumor" in one month is crazy!  So this breast lump was nothing more than a big inconvenience in my hectic schedule!  But seriously, I can't tell you how relieved John and I are to get this good news.  And I want to thank everyone for their prayers during this very stressful time.

Now I can look forward to taking Jaden to his swim classes that start next week, finishing our move-in, joining a play group, finding new Dr.s, hairstylists, etc.  And most importantly, the upcoming holidays with our family at our house!

I'm Alive

I have to hurry and blog!  John is out getting his oil changed and I'm supposed to be in bed resting!

Surgery was uneventful.  The surgeon told John that he wasn't concerned about the lump he took out but that we'll get the results by Friday.  He sent me home with some serious pain medication which I'm waiting to take at bedtime since I know it will knock me out big time.

Thanks to everyone who called or emailed to let me know they were thinking of me today!

Crazy Days!

On Saturday we moved to our new house!  But the A/C quit working so we spent the first 2 nights in a hotel!  You would think with a brand new house that everything would work....right?!  Jaden was a little stressed but none the worse for wear.  He actually tried some chicken & egg noodles at Pei Wei over the weekend and loved it!  He wanted to figure out how to use the chopsticks (with the kiddie assist) but after he about poked his eye out we distracted him with the importance of checking your fortune in your fortune cookie!  Loved those too.

A quick thanks to Justin and to Myles & his team of  guys for their help with the move!  Sorry about the 3 flights of stairs!

Monday I had my follow up visit with the surgeon.  My breast lump isn't a lactation tumor like he hoped (it would have gotten smaller in the last 2 weeks after weaning Jaden) so I'm scheduled for surgery on Tuesday of next week.  It's an out-patient kind of thing so I'll get to go home later that day.  I'm anxious but trying not to stress too much.  We won't know what it is until they take it out, so no point in getting worked up before then.  Staying busy with unpacking and chasing Jaden around the house keeps my mind off things.

Promise to post more pictures.....just as soon as I find my camera!

Angel

Every time Jaden and I are out shopping I hear the same thing.  Oh, he's so well behaved, he's so sweet, so cute.  Of course he's waving and blowing kisses at the salesgirls during all this.  Well...I wanted to show you all what happens when Mommy doesn't let him play with the buttons on the dishwasher.

Stomping his feet on his high chair.

Leaning forward to swat at Mommy.

Even angels have their moments too!
