The men in my family are HOT! =D (video)

I think everyone knows that I enjoy playing with the photos that I take and I LOVE the Jib Jab website where you can put your loved ones faces in different videos.  I received an email from the site that they had some new videos and I had some free time.  =]  The pics were uploaded in random order so if someone seems to be stealing the spotlight (Jon) than that was just by accident.  =D  Hope I don't embarrass anyone!  It was all in fun!  Enjoy!

Spring Break

John, Jaden and I headed to Oklahoma to visit Jaden's Grand-Parents, Great Grand-Parents and our old friends for Spring Break.  We stopped at Arbuckle Wilderness along the way so Jaden could see some animals up close.  They have a 6 1/2 mile drive thru where you can feed the animals that come right up to your car.  Jaden thought that was pretty cool!  He tried to throw the food out the window but since it didn't go very far, the animals got REALLY close to the car.  Too close in some cases!  =]  Once we got to OKLA we visited with family, Jaden got to play with his cousins at the waterpark inside the hotel where they were staying and we also visited the Aquarium.  We were supposed to go to the zoo but the weather was just too cold and windy.  Here are some pics from the trip.

When I saw this guy I urged John to roll up the windows!
He was huge and stuck his head right into the cars!
Also rolled up the window on the ostrich...they're just plain weird!

This is me feeding the giraffe from the back seat.  I didn't mind being this close...he had such a sweet face!  I sat in the back with Jaden....just to make sure the animals didn't get too close and try to bite or spit on him.  =D

These guys are related to Llamas but I can't remember what they were called.
Cute though!

This is inside the Radisson Hotel where Jaden's cousins stayed.
Very cool waterpark type of thing for the kids.  Indoors and heated.

This eel looked like a angry, crusty old man.
Anything that looks like a snake just creeps me out!

The Lion Fish - he was pretty cool!

It was a tunnel and the sharks went right over you.
I got a little disoriented and queasy...which isn't like me!
Pretty neat though!

We had a great time visiting our family and friends and can't wait to see everyone again at the holidays!

Random Pics

Here are some random pictures of Jaden.

Concentrating on his Jamba Juice!
They finally have drinks for kids that are dairy-free!
Yeah!

Lovin' my "juicy juice".

We were shopping at Target and found this super cute hat.

This is the morning after Go Texan Day.
Jaden wouldn't go to breakfast without his gunbelt, handcuffs and hat.
John didn't get to see him dressed up the day before so Jaden wanted to show it to Daddy.

25 Things I Hate About Facebook Video

I recently joined the Facebook movement (FB for those in the know) and found this video on someone else's blog.  Really funny if you're into "Facebooking".  Enjoy!

Monday

Jaden and I were running late for music class (they don't like you to come in late) so we decided to run some errands.  First we went to Hubble & Hudson for some of the things that Jaden likes to eat.  He loves pushing the mini carts around!  Then it was off to get his hair cut and then Starbucks for a quick beverage.

Jaden unloading his "Sammy Jammys" and "Ian's Organic" kids meals.

Nice haircut!
He's playing with his Chick-fil-A cow PEZ dispenser.

The girls at Starbucks love Jaden!
He always waves hello and then flashes his shy smile.
We get a espresso cup full of water with a lid...makes a great sippy cup!
Jaden thinks he's so cool.

Go Texan Day!

Jaden and I headed over to Market Street today for the Go Texan Day festivities!  They had two longhorns you could sit on to have your picture taken, roping practice for the kids, a bunny and a lamb for petting, gunfight re-enactments, live music and a Best Dressed contest. We missed the contest (eating dinner) but this lady came up and asked to take his picture for The Woodlands Lifestyles & Homes magazine (April issue) which was cool!  We'll see if his picture makes it in...if so, we'll get lots of copies for family!  Here are some pictures from the evening.

Clint Eastwood look.

Sitting on a real longhorn!

Gunshots are loud!

Watching the kids rope sawhorse calves.

This little boy was in the show and won first place in the little boys Best Dressed Contest.
He had spurs on his boots and everything!  Really a cutie!

Making friends!
I stepped back to take his picture and he scooted over to this lady and put his hand on her leg!  She laughed...thank goodness!

Doggie!

John has been trying to convince me to get a dog for Jaden.  I think he's too young, plus we have two elderly cats who I'm sure wouldn't appreciate a rambunctious puppy chasing them.  But to humor John and entertain Jaden, we went over to Market Street where they were having a Labrador Adoption Day.  If we (meaning me) were to consider getting a dog, it would be a lab or a golden retriever.  Jaden was so excited to see the dogs!  He would have run across the parking lot if I hadn't picked him up!  The dogs were very gentle and calm but the handlers did say for a child so small it might be better to get a dog around 3 years of age because they're more calm and less likely to knock him over.

Oh!  He's trying to kiss me!

Wet hands.

I thought I'd add a photo of Jaden napping.  He looked so cute!  He loves having all his "babies" with him when he sleeps.

Pooh, Frog (red thing under his head) and Tigger.

Catching up!

Jaden enjoys playing with all the kids in his MDO class but he does have a favorite.  Asher is a little bit younger than the rest of the kids in the class and I think Jaden thinks of him as a little brother. One day I arrived at school to pick up Jaden and when I rounded the corner, this is what I found.  Jaden holding Asher's hand until the teacher came back from walking a classmate to the door.  I thought it was the cutest thing and I was so glad I had my camera with me!

Asher and Jaden.

Loved the cookies and candy that came with it!

This is the outfit I chose for Jaden to wear to school for Valentine Exchange Day.
T-Shirt says, "Mom 4 Ever", of course!  =]
(Caught him eating a cereal bar....Wanna bite?)

Today

Let me start by saying that when I dress Jaden for school, he looks really cute!  Today he wore a navy/white striped polo with khaki cargo pants.  When I went to pick Jaden up at school today, I found him dressed like this:
Gray t-shirt with GIRLS lime green sweatpants!

Jaden's class is learning how to drink out of their sippy cups without the lids.  Jaden takes two sips and proceeds to dump the rest of his drink in his lap!  This happened twice today.  Parents are required to send a change of clothes with their kids in case of a messy lunchtime but apparently I forgot to pack pants.  I WILL NOT FORGET THIS ON THURSDAY. =]

Our Weekend

John and I took Jaden to see Elmo's Green Thumb on Saturday.  The basic story was about Elmo and his friends trying to find the best place to plant Elmo's sunflower, "Sunny".  It's amazing how crazy kids get when they see Elmo!  I think Jaden was as amazed as I was....every time some kid screamed "ELMO!", Jaden would look around like "what was that?!".  Funny.

He looks so serious but he was excited to be there!

Waiting for the show to start.

Daddy bought me an Elmo doll!

Kinda blurry but this was the stage and the balloon vendors at intermission.

John and I kept laughing at the parents who shelled out $10 for a balloon for their kid who then promptly let it float to the ceiling.

Um, yeah....we caved and bought Jaden a balloon and actually made it out to the car with it but then Jaden let it float out the open window.....Man!  Not so funny now.  =D

On a separate note, we thought we would let Jaden have sugar-free pudding for dessert on Sunday......um, yeah, brilliant idea.

I love chocolate pudding!  hee hee hee
